Always by your side

Many of our pain relief options are complimentary. Arrive early to relax in our LED lounge and take advantage of our numbing creams, always available on request. We offer numbing creams at various strengths depending on your procedure, including the strongest preparations available on the market.

Non-medical pain relief

We offer various pain diversion tools (e.g. vibration T bars, soft stress balls, sharp stress globes), distraction methods (even including Netflix!) and relaxation tools, including meditation equipment.

Chill out!

Cold is an excellent pain suppressant, so we are proud to offer cold gel pads or ice packs and the latest technology approaches: the iCool Cryotherapy cool air device and Targetcool Cryotherapy-mediated pain relief options.

Clinical relief

Provided it is clinically appropriate (we will always advise), local anaesthetic injections are, of course, available.

I was made to feel really welcome straight away and the whole place had a warm, relaxing and professional atmosphere. Kelly was absolutely lovely — friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the HydraFacial and how it deeply cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates the skin. She made sure I felt comfortable throughout, and the treatment itself was fantastic. My skin felt instantly refreshed, deeply cleansed and noticeably more hydrated, with a smoother texture and a healthy, radiant glow. I had such a lovely experience with Kelly for my HydraFacial. The whole treatment was incredibly relaxing and comfortable, and Kelly was so gentle and professional throughout. My skin looked noticeably brighter and more refreshed immediately afterwards, which I was really happy with. She listened to all of my concerns, addressed each one thoroughly, and is helping me build a skincare routine that will support my skin journey. FAQs

You are your best pain relief: here are the top ways you can minimise discomfort.

Paracetamol

Take paracetamol as per the manufacturer’s instructions if it is medically safe for you to do. Please avoid Ibuprofen.

Hormonal Awareness

Avoid treatments around your hormonal cycle, as being close to peak menstrual cycle during a treatment will exacerbate the sensation of discomfort or pain.

Relax!

It sounds obvious, but relax, avoid rushing or stress, and arrive in ample time ahead of your treatment – not just to enjoy our LED lounge, but to rest your body.

Avoid coffee

Cut out the coffee on the morning of your treatment. It sensitises you as well as waking you up, so give it a miss for the day.
